Cardinal II Creeping Red Fescue

Cardinal II creeping red fescue has excellent color and it is the leading strong Creeping Red Fescue in the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP) 2014  Fine Fescue trial, 2018 progress report; Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3.  It has excellent disease resistance, scoring high against Dollar Spot and Red Thread.

Cardinal II is dark green for a Creeping Red Fescue variety.  This allows it to match up well with bluegrass at the drip line of a tree, where sunny and shady mixes meet.
